Charlie’s main purpose in life is to find ways to express his love to us. He will do anything possible to be close! He loves to bring us presents – whether it is a chewy toy, one of our socks or a pair of our undies. | He has even grabbed up and brought clumps of dog hair as an offering of his undying commitment. If we could harness his tail, we could provide years of free energy for our home. Of course, this is all a characteristic of his breeding, but for us it is something new to have a bodyguard… in the kitchen… in the living room… in the bedroom… in the bathroom… :) |
He’s wormed and wiggled his way into everyone’s heart – including an uncle’s who made his home with us for a few months. Uncle Harry’s loving nicknames for Charlie are still the standard fare for him around here – Needy, Nerdy, Nitwit, Numbskull and Knucklehead – to name just a few. | "CHARLIE WARR" Charlie is a 2 1/2 year old Golden/Lab mix who entered our lives in March of 2007 when our middle daughter and her family moved out of state and could not take him. Of course, having watched him from puppy hood, we already had very close ties and so his transition from g’kid to our kid was pretty much stress free. |

His faithfulness and friendliness extends to his adopted sibs. He and Roscoe have become inseparable – something Roscoe sorely needed, as his older brothers were not quite as interested in playing ‘stretch mom’s sock’ as Charlie is! Watching them play is an adventure, especially when they race each other around the property – Charlie is the distance runner, but Roscoe is the sprinter and can turn on a dime, so hilarity often ensues before they wear each other out. Charlie’s friendship extends to Chip and Ben – amazingly there is seldom a gruff woof exchanged. |

In the words of the immortal… Charlie came into our lives, he saw, and he conquered! |
